The Soil & Climate Alliance works to create connection between individuals, enhance collaboration across the supply chain, and catalyze systemic change in agriculture.

We draw from a range of disciplines, methodologies, and advanced group facilitation approaches to help the leaders in our Network design meaningful breakthroughs. Our goal is to shift the agriculture industry toward social, environmental and economic sustainability — “all in” regenerative agriculture.

The Soil & Climate Alliance approaches system change through Collective Impact.

All Network members have a shared vision and a joint approach to solving the problem. The Network agrees on the ways success will be measured and reported, and diverse stakeholders are engaged to reinforce activities. To build trust, inform learning, and adapt strategy, the Soil & Climate Alliance team regularly communicates with Network members and Friends of the Network.

We are currently working to drive soil regeneration & climate solutions through initiatives and projects:

  • SOIL & CLIMATE INITIATIVE

Bringing regen ag to market with this powerful program that supports growers and provides 3rd party verification & label for brands & consumers -- 150,000 acres & growing!

  • NUTRIENT DENSITY ALLIANCE

Connecting regenerative agriculture practices to improved outcomes for human health in collaboration with farmers, food industry, medical and nutrition leaders nationwide

  • POLICY

Advocating state and federal government policy and support for regenerative transition. Joint program with Kiss the Ground.

  • KANSAS REGEN WHEAT

Working to transition wheat in KS to regeneratively grown; an example of market development working groups Soil & Climate Alliance members create to scale regen ag

  • PLANT-BASED SUSTAINABLE SOURCING

Leading the transformation of plant-based ingredients to regeneratively grown for people, animals and the planet in partnership with the Plant Based Foods Institute

  • REGENERATIVE FINANCE HUB

A new initiative that supports farmers to access the public and private funds for transitioning to regenerative agriculture.

Learning Together.

Our learning agenda focuses on the flow of information — internally, externally, and through the network — to advance collective knowledge within the regenerative landscape. We share success stories and challenges, case studies, new research, and so much more.

Connecting With Each Other.

When Network members come together to share knowledge and learn from each other, we're able to adjust our global vision and progress forward to meet local and regional challenges.

Taking Action.

Our action agenda leverages our learning and connecting to create solutions to advance with speed and scale. This allows the Network to support collaboration between members and bridge the gap between diverse organizations — all influencing positive outcomes towards a regenerative future. The Soil & Climate Initiative and the Nutrient Density Alliance were created by our Network and are a large part of our action agenda.
