KEY SPEAKER: Dr. Danielie Mandrioli, MD, PhD, Director, Cesare Maltoni Cancer Research Center at Ramazzini Institute
The Ramazzini Institute was founded in 1987 as a non-profit social cooperative. It has over 35,000 members and for over 35 years has been battling with cancer and environmental diseases. Since 2009 the Ramazzini Institute has taken direct responsibility for running the Cesare Maltoni Cancer Research Centre which has its headquarters in the Castle of Bentivoglio, near Bologna, Italy. Protecting public health through prevention has always been the principal objective of the Ramazzini Institute, and the independence of its Cancer Research Center has permitted science and truth to prevail over special interests.
During this data-filled session on glyphosate, Dr. Mandrioli will build on his presentation held earlier this year on Glyphosate: The Story, The Damage, The Path Ahead. This upcoming session will focus on recent results from the Global Glyphosate Study's Multi-Year Integrated Study, the major issues of glyphosate and its economic costs to public health, updates on the re-licensing of glyphosate in Europe and the ongoing evaluation of use in the United States, and opportunities for regenerative ag to reduce the use of glyphosate and its toxic footprint. You won't want to miss this!
